Drake – “Hold On, We’re Going Home” (Official Video)

To celebrate the release of Nothing Was The Same today, Drake dropped the visuals for “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” What I was expecting to be a fairly basic love fest in the form of a music video, turned out to be quite the cinematic experience.

J. Cole – “Power Trip (feat. Miguel)”

“Power Trip” is the first official taste of Cole’s sophomore album, and tonight the visuals surfaced. I’m happy to say, the video was not what I was expecting. Jermaine throws in a heavy storyline with a twist. Born Sinner drops June 25.

AHM Network: Ep. 14

This week we have brand new visuals from D-WHY, who if you don’t know by now, you can find out here. This track is produced by Hit-Boy and is off his debut project Don’t Flatter Yourself, which you can download for free on the sidebar. Also, watch Meek Mill and Big Sean set some whips on fire as alligators watch in their collaborative banger. Last week, The Weeknd officially announced The Trilogy, whilst giving us visuals for “Rolling Stone.” Coldplay gets animated on their latest video, based on their Mylo Xyloto comic series.

AHM Network: 3 Kingz

Ricky Rozay’s most anticipated project God Forgives, I Don’t dropped today and I have a feeling sales are going to be enormous. First though, here’s a little something different from the MMG frontman. While i’m not opposed to the dark, aggressive, MMG-affliate packed videos, this is a nice change. The video jumps up and down the timeline of the three artists’ lives. From Dre’s days with Snoop Dogg (now Lion i’m told), Ross in the hood, Jay wearing grills to Monster products and Maybachs.

AHM Network Ep. 12

This week’s episode includes a cover of Nicki Minaj’s “Starships,” my good friend Harvey on the guitar with one of the more unique and captivating voices i’ve heard in awhile.

The completely independent New York Glitch Pop/Soul Fuzz duo is making noise on many blogs with just this one single out. Thanks to @Smitty346 for the heads up on this one.

It looks a lot like the inspiration for 2 Chainz’s most recent video came from Jay-Z’s “On To The Next One” video. Regardless, for a lacklustre storyline, the visuals are unexpectedly creative and artsy.

NHL: 36

NBC Sports started a new documentary series back in December 2011. Much like HBO’s 24/7, it follows a specific player for 36 hours. You get the chance to see inside the life of a NHL player. Unfortunately it’s not HBO, so you’ll have to deal with the “bleeping,” which if you’ve ever seen inside the hockey world, there’s a decent amount of it.
This post will catch you up with the series, there have been 5 episodes so far and as they air, AHM will post them.
December 14, 2011 – Patrick Kane (Chicago Blackhawks
January 4, 2012 – Patrice Bergeron (Boston Bruins)
January 25, 2012 – Nicklas Lidstrom (Detroit Red Wings)
February 22, 2012 – Mike Richards (L.A. Kings)
March 7, 2012 – James Neal (Pittsburgh Penguins)

Tyga gets “Faded” with Wayne and Game runs “The City” with Kendrick.

The AHM Network Ep. 6

Today’s episode features Big Sean’s on VICE and Project X’s Party Legends. It gave me a G.o.o.d. laugh.
Also on the docket, the 2008 demo “Lady” turned single from the Chromatics off their upcoming album Kill For Love. Santigold includes some basic animation for her latest single.
Watch Hodgy transform people into cats, Domo own a ginger and Tyler snort a mountain in Odd Future’s new single. Fucked up.
