Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 80

Volcano Choir - Byegone

Welcome to Volume Eighty of Monday Blues & Beats, hope you’re all enjoying the day. This week there were a lot of responses towards Kendrick’s verse on “Control,” but not many left me feeling very inspired. However, it clearly sparked something under Lupe Fiasco, who dropped three tracks this past week. In general, it was a busy week for music, in all genres. New material from Volcano Choir, The Weeknd, Big Sean, RAC, Eminem, SZA and much, much more – 21 tracks this week. Let’s get to it boys and girls…

Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 61

Vol. 61

Happy Monday and welcome to the new look. I’m testing out a few new themes currently, and having fun with it. Regardless, there’s still new music that takes precedence over aesthetics. AlunaGeorge has done it again with a brand new single, Little Boots is finally back in the studio, Juicy J goes in on a Passion Pit instrumental, and Kid Cudi has superpowers? Plus new jams from Joey Bada$$, Still Corners, Ty Dolla $ign and more.

Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 60

Vol. 60

Good evening and happy Monday to all of you. I took a mini vacation to San Francisco last week, so I apologize for the lack of posts. However, that just means Volume 60 is twice the size. 22 tracks coming at you today including J. Cole’s first official single to Born Sinner, Phoenix with their new single, as well as fresh material from Hit-Boy, The Strokes, Purity Ring, London Grammar, Frank Ocean, Dave East and more. I was hoping i’d have a new song from The National seeing as they just announced a new album (coming May) and tour with the Dirty Projectors, but sadly nothing yet.
