It’s Monday July 9th, 2012, and summer is here.

I am incredibly happy to announce Bloc Party is back in the lab, and have signed a distribution deal with one of my favourite labels, Arts & Crafts.

Frank O isn’t slowing down with the Channel Orange movement, he hooked up with Pharrell for the latest single.

It feels like forever since we’ve heard from the charismatic, carefree couple Matt & Kim.

Childish Gambino released his much anticipated Royalty mixtape and it does not disappoint. I highly advise you download the whole tape.

It’s Monday, June twenty-fifth, two thousand and twelve.

Lupe Fiasco sends out another deep message for the damsels in distress.

Purity Ring, the All-Canadian duo, has done it again with their second single. Beautifully produced with hooks that sound like they’re straight out of a 90’s R&B track and a futuristic beat.

Dom Kennedy dropped his highly anticipated Yellow Album which has been in heavy rotation.

Nas gears up for number ten, Pusha for number one, Wiz hooks up with fifty and JJ goes free.

Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 15

Hot Chip released a video this week of their new single “Flutes,” and Friday, the MP3 surfaced. Incredible production value, i’m anticipating a fantastic record.
3 tracks from Frank Ocean this week. “Thinking About You” has finally surfaced in 320 kbps, I am ecstatic.
Nas dropped his second single for his final Def Jam album Life Is Good, expected sometime this year. Phenomenal production team on this track.
