Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 110

Vol. 110

Volume 110 coming at you with new material from Parquet Courts, Ab-Soul, T.I. with Young Thug, HS87, Tinashe, Loso going in on a YG instrumental and a few beats out of the Soulection lab that’ll get your head bopping.

Zimkoto & J-Louis – “6 AM”

We start this weeks mix off by shouting out the Soulection camp, you boys bring the heat week after week. This 2-minute instrumental right here is as silky as Datsyuk’s mitts.

Mr. Carmack – “Les Djinns”

The second joint courtesy of the Soulection label comes in the form of a Drake remix, as Carmack chops up “Trophies,” giving it some mean attitude.

Esta – “Watercolor”

The third beat from the chillwave empire has a little jump to it; filthy snares anyone?

Ab-Soul – “Stigmata (feat. Action Bronson & Asaad)”

Soul unleashes some fury from his forthcoming album after threatening to leak the project himself if TDE didn’t drop it soon. Top Dawg’s CEO heard him loud and clear as he has given the fans a choice ofrelease date, regardless, it will arrive in June.

Parquet Courts – “Instant Disassembly”

These indie rock/punk boys from Brooklyn give us one more teaser before their sophomore album is released via Mom + Pop (June 3).

Hit-Boy – “No Talkin’ (feat. Rich Boy & PeeJ)”

Saying I’m excited from the HS87 compilation project is a slight understatement. We The Plug drops tomorrow on iTunes. The boys just keep grinding hard, and it’s safe to say they’re playing with the big boys now.

Fabolous – “Who Do You Love (Remix) [feat. Trey Songz]”

Fabo hops on YG’s DJ Mustard produced banger, creating an undeniably effective combo.

Nicki Minaj – “Pills N Potions”

While Nicki promises The Pink Print will be more rap then pop, she fires off a rather radio-friendly single.

T.I. – “About The Money (feat. Young Thug)”

TIP enlists his fellow ATL emcee for a knocker produced by London on the Track

Tinashe – “Days In The West”

Tinashe keeps the ball rolling with a cover/remix of Drake’s “Days In The East,” giving it a little emotion.

Kline – “Anything Can Happen (feat. Oshea Adams)”

Kline is a Vancouver/Calgary based DJ/Producer, and as far as first impressions go, this one went well. The sexy ominous vibe mixed with the vocals makes for a synergetic pairing.

Warren Xclnce – “Sweetest Taboo (Flava Dre Massage) [Warren Xclnce Re-Work]”

Warren Xclnce (excellence) out of the UK, gives the classic Sade jam a little spice.
