Welcome to Monday Blues & Beats Volume Ninety-Three. We’re back with a MegaMix of tunes that have been coming through my speakers the last few weeks. Hope you all are enjoying your holidays, and maybe this mix will help with getting back into the swing of things.
Note: There’s no individual track downloads in this mix, but it’s been separated into two parts. Enjoy
Drake – “Trophies”
Here’s one of the most anticipated track from Drake in 2013, both before and after NWTS. We heard a glimpse of this beat on the album trailer, then certain cities along the tour got a taste, and now here it is in full. Produced by Hit-Boy – Note: CDQ
Hit-Boy – “Alert (feat. Nipsey Hussle)”
Hit comes back with a strong single featuring Crenshaw’s Nipsey and it’s self-produced.

One of the highly anticipated joints from YG’s upcoming album surfaced early this morning. A straight banger produced by DJ Mustard

Kid Ink – “No Option (feat. King Los)”
After heating up with “Show Me,” Ink comes back with a Don Cannon produced banger from the upcoming album My Own Lane
Slaughterhouse – “Party”
The Slaughterhouse boys come back with absolute authority. This banger uses the production power of both Cardiak and Just Blaze
Lupe Fiasco – “Piru Blues”
Lu gets on that triumphant power train once again with this jam. No word yet if it’s on Tetsuo & Youth
Tsu Surf – “Red Dresses (feat. Wale & Gabrielle Findley)”
This is already my favourite track off Tsu’s “A New Mood,” and with Wale on it, only gets better.
Kid Cudi – “Satellite Flight”
WizardCud’s latest sound finds him testing out futuristic vocal chords.
Future – “Sh!t (Remix) [feat. Drake & Juicy J]
After listening to three or four remixes of this song, I figured one should suffice. Produced by Mike Will
Vic Mensa – “Suitcase (feat. Chance The Rapper)”
AHM has posted Vic before, and he’s here again because there’s talent there. Chance does his thing as per usual. Produced by Cam Osteen
Euroz – “That Nigga”
It’s been a minute since we’ve posted new Euroz, but this joint has smooth banger written all over it. Produced by Black Metaphor

A standout track from Alchemist’s Cutting Room Floor 3
Tyga – “Good Day (feat. Lil Wayne & Meek Mill)”
One of the standout tracks from Tyga’s Well Done 4 – produced by League of Starz
Fabolous – “The Hope (feat. Jadakiss)”
Produced by AraabMuzik
Fabolous – “You Know (feat. Young Jeezy)”
Produced by Vinylz & Boi-1da. Here are two tracks from Loso’s Soul Tape 3, I can’t really call them standouts because the whole tape is good. You can download it HERE
Casey Veggies & Rockie Fresh – “Perception/Love All Around Me (feat. Kirko Bangz)”
Produced by Jahlil Beats / Sound Mob

Busta Rhymes & Q-Tip – “Renaissance Rap (Remix) [feat. Raekwon & Lil Wayne]”
It’s hard to pick a couple joints from Busta and Q’s 28-track tape, but here’s two that continually draw me in. Get the full project HERE
Skeme – “Bullets”
Skeme is back with a new album called Inglewood – this banger is produced by Boi-1da
Lunice – “Steady Flexin'”
Part of LuckyMe’s 2013 Advent calendar, they gave away this climatic banger
Cardiak – “RPM (Instrumental)”
Originally used by Paypa and Crooked I, Cardiak put this filthy, and I mean filthy beat on his Emergency Room Vol. 2 tape. If you ever need a gym ‘pick-me-up,’ this is it!
Oscar Key Sung – “All I Could Do”
The Australian native is back with a beautiful blend of electro, funk, piercing vocals and overlaying futuristic jabs. This has easily been one of my go-to tracks for the past month.
The Neighbourhood – “Afraid (Twice As Nice Remix)”
Another high impact remix from Australian remix/producer duo. They use the perfect amount of Neighbourhood lyrics in all the right places
LIZ – “All Them Boys”
The pop princess from Mad Decent Records is back with a promise of new material in 2014 and a freebie to get us started

If you’ve followed AHM for awhile, you’ll know we have mad love for both Sound Remedy and Kill Paris…now they’re on a track together

Here’s another standout from Ryan’s mix, putting a nerdy, yet silky spin on ATL rapper Que’s joint
TEEMID & Joie Tan – “Crazy (Gnarls Barkley Cover)”
Shout out to my man @_BobbyBolivia for sending this one my way. Just when I thought i’d forgotten all about Gnarls B, this tag-team hailing from both France and Singapore do it divine justice.
Hibou – “Hide Away”
Peter Michel, aka Hibou resides down the coast in Seattle, and creates an spunky, happy-go-lucky tune to wake you up in the morning.
Four Tet – “Human Once Again”
In celebration of 100k followers on Twitter, Kieran Hebden let go of some free material via SendSpace. Here’s his edit on Grimes’ “Skin”
CEO – “My Liquor”
Eric Berglund, aka CEO, the Swedish electronic musician takes Ye’s dark and twisted “Hold My Liquor” and transforms it into something triumphant.
AraabMuzik – “Red Wine”
The Hip-Hop/Electro producer dropped this instrumental designed for those ‘I work out and instagram about it” playlists.
Future Forests – “Steve Goes For A Bike Ride”
The up-and-coming indie/post-rock band from Saskatoon knocked their debut single out of the park…way out. Their synergy between the emotional angst of power-rock and quirky indie sounds is seamless, and while i’m good friends with the drummer, you be the judge.
GXNXVS – “Too Much (GXNXVS Remix) [feat. Sampha]”
The mysterious producer from Australia has struck with a 5-track remix EP titled Lately. It includes dreamy ambient remixes of Majid Jordan, Banks, CVIRO, The Weeknd and this one originally by Drake.
Burial – “Hiders”
William Bevan is Burial, and he released a 3-track EP earlier this month titled Rival Dealer. His ability to make a story out of distorted sounds and vocals is always impressive.

Purple – “The Club (Shlohmo Remix)”
It wouldn’t be a Blues & Beats without a remix from Shlohmo, who really took 2013 by storm and got his name out there.
Sango – “Smiles & Frowns”
To thank their fans, SOULECTION Records dropped a 5-track EP for free, this being one of the cuts off it
Jacques Greene – “Can’t Get Close (Sampha JG Edit)”
LuckyMe Records also thanked their fans with an advent calendar full of a free track per day for the month of December. The Lunice banger was in Part I, and here’s my favourite from the bunch.
Hudson Mohawke – “Structure (feat. Shamz Le Roc & BbHollogramz)”
Another one from the LuckyMe calendar, a more sexy, club anthem from producer HudMo
