Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 92

Thomas Jack Remix

Good evening and welcome to Volume 92. Sorry for the absence for the last couple weeks, sometimes life gets in the way ya know? Regardless, we’re back with a ecstatic eclectic mix for you. Brilliant remixes, Timbo back on his collaborative grind, and multiple shouts from the underrated underdogs.

Mikky Ekko – Kids (The Chainsmokers Remix)

Complete and utter triumph. That about sums up the emotions evoked through this remix of Mikky Ekko’s “Kids,” done to perfection by The Chainsmokers.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich – Atlas Hands (Thomas Jack Remix)

The young Australian DJ/Producer gives Leftwich’s “Atlast Hands” an energetic facelift.

Timbaland – Know Bout Me (feat. Jay Z, Drake & James Fauntleroy)

Timbaland’s re-reincarnation wouldn’t be complete with a collaborative project would it? Hov, Drizzy and the soulful Fauntleroy lend a helping hand to the debut single from Textbook Timbo (release date unknown).

Sampha – Too Much

Sampha has taken what he delivered for Drake’s NWTS, and turned it into a full piano ballad.

D-WHY – Legacy

Here’s one more from David Morris’ Young, Loved, Hated & Broke EP which drops tomorrow via iTunes or for free via TheCleanestCorner

Say Lou Lou – Beloved

The twin sisters have a five track EP coming out next week, and this enchanting number will be a part of it.

SHEL – When The Sky Fell (Sound Remedy Remix)

Sound Remedy takes the sweet number from the four Colorado sisters and gives it some attitude.

Stelios Phili – Want (feat. Leaf)

The New York editor and producer created this invasive jam for Kendrick’s GQ video shoot.

Euroz – Spend It All

It’s been awhile since I posted a Euroz track, but when this beat dropped, I was hooked. Produced by Sweetz Got Beatz

Haerts – Wings (Shlohmo Remix)

Another captivating delivery from Shlohmo, seems he can do no wrong.

Gunplay – Kush (feat. Lil Wayne & Rick Ross)

Nothing new as far as content goes from these three, but the beat and vibe was too cold to pass up.

The National – Lean

The Brooklyn boys contributed some melancholy airwaves to the new Catching Fire soundtrack.

The 1975 – Girls (The Knocks Remix)

The duo from Chinatown NYC have infused 1975’s latest single with some candy-high energy. Look out for their debut project coming early 2014.

Trae The Truth – Hold Up (feat. Jeezy, T.I. & Diddy)

A real grimy street banger from Trae and company.

Sabi – Love Sounds

Sabi just dropped her 0 to 60: Love Sounds mixtape, and this is one of the standout track – produced by Ryan McDermott

Trails And Ways – Lost (Frank Ocean Cover)

The Oakland dream poppers give their take on Frankie O’s “Lost.”

Kid Ink – My Own Lane

Kid Ink feeds the streets with a free banger – beat courtesy of Ned Cameron

Casey Veggies – Faces (Remix) [feat. Dom Kennedy]

Veggies links up with Dom on the remix of “Faces.”
