Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 55

Vol. 55

Happy Monday to all of you, and unless you happen to be somewhere toasty, I hope you are all enjoying the brisk weather. Do you all remember a man by the name of Justin Timberlake? Well he’s back! Also included; a collaborative banger from G.O.O.D./MMG, a voluptuous remix from Zeds Dead, and did Outkast reformulate?

Justin Timberlake – Suit & Tie (feat. Jay-Z)

When the video of JT claiming “i’m ready” surfaced earlier this week, I didn’t think that meant a brand new single a few days later. A comeback of this stature should obviously include a feature from Jay-Z right? These two slick gentlemen are rightful owners of a track called “Suit & Tie.” We can’t forget about this silky smooth production from Timbaland, who could use a comeback of his own. Justin, the music industry missed you and we’re incredibly happy to have you back. Download the single on Suit & Tie (feat. JAY Z) - Single - Justin Timberlake

Marina & The Diamonds – Lies (Zeds Dead Remix)

The Toronto duo has wooed us with another gorgeous remix. This time taking the Welsh singer/songwriter is the recipient of a well-orchestrated renovation.

A$AP Rocky – I Come Apart (feat. Florence Welch)

Here’s the iTunes bonus track to A$AP’s highly anticipated Long.Live.A$AP. I know it already leaked, but I advise you pick up your own copy (you won’t regret it) get it from LONG.LIVE.A$AP (Deluxe Version) - A$AP Rocky

Frank Ocean – Pink Matter (Remix) [feat. Outkast]

Yes, it’s true; André 3000 and Big Boi are on a track together. The cinematic “Pink Matter” from Ocean’s Channel Orange is responsible for this reunion.

Generationals – Spinoza

Here’s a single off their upcoming album Heza, which hits stores April 2. This is their third record, and the first one under Polyvinyl Records.

Pusha T – Millions (feat. Rick Ross)

GOOD Music’s Pusha T collaborates with the MMG boss for a fire banger. This is off the long awaited mixtape Wrath of Caine which still doesn’t have a release date. Produced by Southside and Rico Beats.

Kaskade & Swanky Tunes – No One Knows Who We Are (Original Mix) [feat. Lights]

Kaskade teams up with the Russia trio Swanky Tunes for a whirlwind of electronic bliss. Having the Canadian comic book geek Lights belting out the hook is a perfect fit. Get the single on No One Knows Who We Are (Feat. Lights) - Single - Kaskade & Swanky Tunes

OneRepublic – If I Lose Myself

This is the second single off Ryan Tedder and company’s upcoming third LP Native, set for March 26.

AlunaGeorge – Diver

The London electronic duo has made quite the name for themselves lately. They were just shortlisted for the 2013 BRIT Awards of Critics’ Choice. Their debut full-length Body Music is said to be released this June.

Cocaine 80s – Fly Ass Pisces

The peculiar Hip Hop group has just released another free project called The Flower of Life. You can download the FreEP HERE

Future – Fo Real (feat. Drake)

A Mike Will produced banger off Future’s upcoming project The Movie.

Ace Hood – Motive (feat. Kevin Cossom)

Ace dropped his Starvation 2 mixtape this week, and while I thought it was better then the first, this was my favourite joint from it. Produced by Jahlil Beats.

Glad to hear JT aint doing the whole autotune thing. Song has soul. Waiting for that big hit of a tune to come out from him again.
