Welcome to the Monday Blues & Beats, it’s time to update those music libraries. A couple new joints from MMG’s Meek Mill before the release of his debut album. A new single from G.O.O.D.’s Big Sean, some electronic goodness from Smokey Robotic, Jerome LOL and Trust/Eight And A Half. JMSN decided to give away his album for free in celebration of Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city.
As Meek Milly prepares for the release of his debut album, he dropped two promo tracks. This one serves as the intro to the album, and it fits the theme of the record to perfection. The Beat Bully chops up a beautifully haunted backdrop. Pre-Order Dreams and Nightmares
Dreams & Nightmares features Nas, John Legend, Rick Ross, Wale, Jahlil Beats, Kane Beatz, Cardiak and many more talented artists. This heartfelt story was produced by Boi-1da.
Apparently this will be featured on his second LP Hall Of Fame. A laid back production from Key Wane, one of his go-to producers.
Christian Berishaj (JMSN), recently re-released his debut record Priscilla for free. The reasoning; he was featured (vocals) on four tracks off Kendrick Lamar’s incredible good kid, m.A.A.d city, so in celebration, he let the record hit download sites everywhere. Think The Weeknd meets Justin Timberlake. I suggest you download the whole album on the right sidebar.
Arts & Crafts Records label mates team up for this remix. Eight And A Half cools off Trust’s (TRST) heavy upbeat single.
Rihanna’s latest single receives a pitch adjustment and a couple extra kick drums.
One of my good friends put me onto these guys, and wow was she right. Smokey Robotic is a four-piece group residing in both New York/Vancouver. Two producers, two singer-songwriters and a cluster of sounds and moods. This relaxed dance jam suits any house party, after party, and even those late night sips. I look forward to hearing more from these guys. Check out their other material on Soundcloud.
Devonté Hynes turns Lemonade’s indie pop single into a sensual ballad.
Mac hooks up with his old pal Beedie for another laid back jam. Mr. Miller seems to be rolling on Chill Ave. as of late. Produced by P. Fish.
