Almost two weeks ago, Big Sean announced via YouTube he was dropping a new mixtape. Well that tape is here and it’s called Detroit. One of G.O.O.D. Music’s youngest artists has failed to disappoint in just a few years in the industry. Following a trilogy of mixtapes, Sean was set for his debut record Finally Famous, and the name didn’t lie. With the help of Kanye West, No I.D. and all their connections, the LP was a massive hit. After the consummation into the game, Big hit the road on a tour that still has yet to cease. The features started rolling in, including the platinum “Mercy,” with his label mates, as well as hooking up Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber and more. So here we are today, with Cruel Summer on the edge of our iTunes libraries, Big Sean gives us Detroit. Along with some storytelling from Common, Jeezy and Snoop, he enlists Cole, K.Dot, CB, French, Royce and more for the features. Not to mention, the production line-up includes bangers from Hit-Boy, Lex Luger, Key Wane, Don Cannon, Young Chop and other talented visionaries.
