New music from The Temper Trap, T.I., Boy, Poliça, Mystery Jets, and Pretty Lights.

Boy – This Is The Beginning

The Swiss-German indie pop duo won the 2012 EBBA award for their debut LP Mutual Friends. They’re reminiscent of Feist.

Off Trouble Man expected to drop this summer.

Poliça – Lay Your Cards Out (feat. Mike Noyce)

Founded just last year, the band’s SXSW performance evoked reviews written withs words like “appears on the brink of something more worldwide” and “This band is going to be huge.” Based in Minneapolis, this indie electronic group receives a helping hand on this track from Mike Noyce, member of Bon Iver.

Produced by Kane Beatz. OVO’s Drake delivers a monster verse which will make the remix more relevant than the original.

Father John Misty – Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings

Another track from Fear Fun via Sub Pop Records. The record is mysterious and dark, yet playful.

Ab-Soul – Illuminate (feat. Kendrick Lamar)

Produced by Skhye Hutch. Off Control System out now.

Ab-Soul – Black Lip Bastard (Remix) [feat. Black Hippy]

Produced by Willie B. Off Control System. Featuring the original group Black Hippy (Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q.)

Pretty Lights – You Get High

The Colorado-based DJ Derek Smith delivers some glitchy samples and aggressive synths, all lined with the usual funk and soul he’s known for.

Azealia Banks – Jumanji

The playful, seesaw beat is brought to you by Hudson Mohawke & Nick Hook. The Harlem rapper is making a relative splash in the industry since the hype surrounding the 2011 track “212 (feat. Lazy Jay).” Fantastic mixtape on it’s way.

Mystery Jets – Someone Purer

This heartfelt rock ‘n’ roll record is courtesy of Radlands which hit shelves April 30th via Rough Trade. “Give me rock and roll!” Straight and to the point, hard to argue this one.
