Good evening and welcome to Blues & Beats Volume 72, I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend (for us Canadians). If you missed it, there were giant Kanye faces projected on buildings around the world this weekend to promote his brand new single. Unfortunately the track didn’t surface today, but we do have new material from The Weeknd, The Dodos, Banks, D-WHY, Hit-Boy, Gilbere Forté, Mayer Hawthorne, Nipsey Hussle and much more.

Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 71
Welcome to Monday Blues & Beats Volume 71, hope y’all enjoyed Mother’s Day Weekend. The unintentional but reoccurring theme this week seemed to be “Underrated.” Today’s mix has some music from the ignored, misunderstood, ill-timed or just those that don’t quite receive the credit they deserve. Regardless, all of them have clearly struck a nerve over here at ahealthymedium. Enjoy.
Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 70
Good morning and welcome to Volume 70 of Monday Blues & Beats. Hope you’re all enjoying the weather wherever you are, eat some ice cream, take a stroll on the beach, and make sure you take some time out of your day to enjoy some new tunes.
“We live in cold world, my job is to rock nations” – Talib Kweli (“Rocket Ships”)
J. Cole – “Truly Yours 2″
One day after J. Cole let go of “Cole Summer,” he surprised us with Truly Yours 2. This is the follow up to part one, which dropped back in February. After multiple delays on Cole’s sophomore effort, he holds us over with free music (no complaints here). If the album isn’t ready, or doesn’t feel right, do not release it. That being said, the Roc Nation protege has set June 25th as the release date for Born Sinner.
The EP features 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy, Bas and production from Canei Finch, Jake One and Ron Gilmore.
Monday Blues & Beats Vol. 69
Good morning and welcome to Tuesday folks. This was one of those weeks for me that kind of just dragged on and on and on. So finally last night, I grabbed a couple beers and dove head first into some new music. We’ve got fresh material from Florence + The Machine, J. Cole, MGMT, Ab-Soul, Daughter, Clams Casino and more.
